Go to the oneFileSync Portal at https://portal.onefilesync.ca

Enter your oneFileSync username and password. If a customer has signed up for oneDesktop services, their username and password will be the same.

If the customer has enabled 2FA on their account, they will have to enter the login code from their Authenticator App. Otherwise, go to the next step.

Once logged in, click on your name in the top right.

Click on Download App from the drop down menu.

Choose the download appropriate for your operating system. For this guide we will use the Windows Client.

The Windows and Mac clients will directly download an installation file.

The Android and iOS apps will just redirect you to their respective app stores.

The file will download. Once it is done, open the file. This example uses Chrome. Click the three dots.

Click Open to start the installer.

Choose your language

Click Next

Select I Accept License agreement and click Next.

Choose your install directory or take the default. The default was chosen for this installation.

Click Next.

Click Next to install.

Let the installer finish installing. Once it is complete, you can choose to Create a Desktop Shortcut.

I usually do not, as oneFileSync starts on startup.

Click Finish.

Once installed, the login should appear.
