Overview
How to install Citrix Receiver for Windows.
Scope of This How To Article
This article applies to Windows 7, WIndows 8 and Windows 10
Pre-Requisite and Requirements
Internet and local admin access on local workstation.
Additional Information
This installation is for Microsoft Windows Operating Systems Only. On older version of Citrix Receiver/Workspace, you would sometimes have to use the Citrix Cleanup Tool. This is now part of the Workspace install, so it is no longer necessary.

This is for the latest release. On NIRIX Equipment, we install the LTSR. Follow that guide for NIRIX Managed Equipment instead. Customers can opt for that as well, if they want less frequent updates.

1.3 | Once the download completes, open the file by clicking it in the bottom left corner of your browser (assuming you are using Chrome |

The latest Citrix Workspace for Mac can be found at the link below; click Download File |
Find Workspace app for Windows Long Term Service Release and expand it. Click the link below it to got to the download page.
Open the folder where the file was downloaded to, and open a command prompt. Run the following command:
citrixworkspaceapp.exe /AutoUpdateCheck=Auto /AutoUpdateStream=LTSR /DeferUpdateCount=0 /silent /noreboot

If you get the message below, you will have to update your Mac OS, or download a version that is compatible with your currently installed version. 1.13 | You will be asked whether you want the DMG file to be kept or moved to trash; this file is the installer for Citrix, and can be redownloaded from Citrix again if needed. Click Move to Trash. |
How to Install Citrix Workspace for iPad

Expand Receiver for Windows (At the very top which should be the latest version) , and then Click Receiver for Windows again, and then click on Receiver 4.xx Windows Link to download the client program.

1.7 | Choose between either 'Allow' or 'Don't Allow' notifications. It doesn't affect functionality for accessing oneDesktop. You can adjust this within your iPad settings later if needed. | |

1.9 | First, enter the address provided to you (may differ from the image) in the first field, then tap the Continue button. | |
1.10 | When prompted, tap the Manual Setup button. | |
1.11 | First, enter a description - you can just enter oneDesktop, or something else if you prefer. Then ensure that the option Web Interface is checked. Finally, you can then tap the Save button. | |
1.12 | Next, tap the oneDesktop button (or whatever you entered as the description). (Note, you might need to tap the middle of the screen if you're brought to the NIRIX oneDesktop login page already, but it's just greyed/faded out slightly.) | |
1.13 | Enter the credentials you use to login to oneDesktop, then tap the Log On button. | |
1.14 | Success! I'd recommend tapping the semi-transparent button in the top right corner to make oneDesktop a little bit easier to use for your iPad. If you don't like the alternate layout it provides, you can just tap it again to revert it. |
