How to Install Citrix Workspace for iPad

Sub-Step #

Instruction

Screenshot

1.1

Open up the App Store.

1.2

Tap the Search button.

1.3

Search for Citrix Workspace on the App Store.

1.4

Tap the Citrix Workspace icon.

1.5

Tap the cloud button to download Citrix Workspace to your iPad.

1.6

Once the download has finished, then tap the Open button.

1.7

Choose between either 'Allow' or 'Don't Allow' notifications. It doesn't affect functionality for accessing oneDesktop.

You can adjust this within your iPad settings later if needed.

1.8

Tap the 'Get Started' button.

1.9

First, enter the address provided to you (may differ from the image) in the first field, then tap the Continue button.

1.10

When prompted, tap the Manual Setup button.

1.11

First, enter a description - you can just enter oneDesktop, or something else if you prefer.

Then ensure that the option Web Interface is checked.

Finally, you can then tap the Save button.

1.12

Next, tap the oneDesktop button (or whatever you entered as the description).

(Note, you might need to tap the middle of the screen if you're brought to the NIRIX oneDesktop login page already, but it's just greyed/faded out slightly.)

1.13

Enter the credentials you use to login to oneDesktop, then tap the Log On button.

1.14

Success!

I'd recommend tapping the semi-transparent button in the top right corner to make oneDesktop  a little bit easier to use for your iPad. If you don't like the alternate layout it provides, you can just tap it again to revert it.

The changes documented above are specific to the NIRIX Shared Hosting Environment only.
