Overview

This How-to guide is to provide a detailed step by step instruction for creating a new distribution group, and editing and managing it in oCCP.

Prerequisites and Requirements

To successfully complete this action in oCCP you will need the following:

  • Access to oCCP (oneCloudControlPanel)

  • Administrator level credentials in oCCP

Go to https://cp.poweredbynirix.com and login with your account.

Under the blue navbar at the top, under ‘Services’ > ‘Exchange’. click on ‘Distribution Groups’.

Enter what you’d like to name the Distribution Group. Leave the ‘Type’ as the default, ‘Distribution’, and then click ‘New Group’.

When you create a brand new Distribution Group, you’ll need to set an email address for it, and assign it some members.

Start by clicking the green drop-down arrow to expand the Distribution Group.

We’ll start with setting the email address for the Distribution Group; click on the ‘Email’ tab.

Then, click ‘Add’. From there, enter the email address you’d like to set the Distribution Group to use, then click ‘Update’.

To add users to the Distribution Group, click on the ‘Members’ tab.

Enter the first name of the user you’d like to add in the ‘Member search’ box, followed by clicking ‘Find’.

Then, check off the box to the right of the user’s email, followed by clicking ‘Add’.

When you are finished making any changes, click ‘Save’ to apply those changes.
